MILRAM's Björn Schröder used a perfect time trial in the fourth stage of the 24th Rothaus Regio-tour (August 20-24/ UCI 2.1) to take over the leader's yellow jersey.  A time of 18:02 minutes and fourth in the 20.2 kilometer stage were enough for him to make the jump to the overall lead.  The day's win went to Grischa Niermann (Rabobank) ahead of Andreas Henig (Atlas Romer's) and Andrei Kunitski (Acqua e Sapone).  MILRAM's good performance was rounded off by the ninth place of Simon Geschke.

This is my seventh Regio-Tour and my first time in yellow.  It feels great,“ said MILRAM's Björn Schröder.  „The course suited me well.  Beforehand I had checked it out three times and so I knew which curves I could go all out in.  I rode absolutely without error, which was the key to my success.  Tomorrow we will do absolutely everything to bring the overall title home with us.“

After the trip into France for the 181 kilometer long so-called Alsace Stage from Lutterbach to Soultz, and a further stage on the border to Switzerland, came the 20.2 kilometer long time trial in Gundelfinden.  On Sunday, after 697.5 kilometers, the Regio-Tour makes its traditional end at the Kaiserstuhl in Vogtsburg.
