Fabiana Luperini leads Selle Italia-Ghezzi in Berne

After winning the second stage of Gracia-Orlova Fabiana Luperini will be the leader of the Selle Italia-Ghezzi for the fifth World Cup round, the Berner-Rundfahrt. The Swiss race presents a circuit of 33.95 km to be repeated four times for a total of 135.8 km: the route is characterize by the ascent of Bergpreis which peaks at 9% slope and that, faced four times, will create a lot of selection.
Because of this very hard circuit Fabiana Luperini will be the reference point of the team, as explains the sports director Fortunato Lacquaniti: «Fabiana is in good shape and if the race will be hard she can get a good result. But as a team we can also count on Martine Bras especially in his case of sprint with 20 or 30 riders; she's our best rider in the World Cup ranking». Besides Luperini and Bras will also race Boyd, Bozzolo, Corneo and Kozonchuk.
In the morning, always in Berne, will be held also a national race in which will start three girls from the Selle Italia-Ghezzi: Borgato, Romoli and Zogli will have the opportunity to race on a very similar path, even if with a lap in less.
