Bosisio anticipates Simeoni and Cattaneo

Gabriele Bosisio (LPR), with an attack at the start of the final climb, wins the third stage of the Brixia Tour, Darfo Boario Terme - Borno, 155,5 km. The rider from Lecco, at his third seasonal success after the Giro d’Oro and the victory of one stage during the Giro d’Italia, has anticipated Italian Champion Filippo Simeoni (Ceramica Flaminia), second at 2’’, and Marco Cattaneo (NGC Medical OTC), third at 3’’.
The three riders – with Tizza, joined by the peloton after two chilometres – launched the attack 10 chilometres to go, at the beginning of the climb.
In the overall ranking the leader is Santo Anzà, followed by Francesco Masciarelli at 3”.
Tomorrow the fourth stage from Concesio to Passo Maniva (1.800 metres).
