After the signings of Johannes Fröhlinger, Matthias Ruß and Thomas Rohregger, Team MILRAM has announced another new signing for the coming season.  The 22 year-old Paul Voß will change from the Continental Team 3C-Gruppe to the German ProTour team.

„This is a dream come true,“ said Voß, who was born in Rostock but now lives in Bielefeld.  „My signing shows that it is still possible for young riders to get a contract in the highest ranks.  I am really looking forward to the coming year.“

Voß will have a number of duties at Team MILRAM.  „We want to cover a wide base in the coming season as the only German ProTour team,“ said general manager Gerry van Gerwen.  „Paul Voß is a young and very talented rider, who is also at home in cyclo-cross and can bring in some wins there, too.“

Paul Voß first came to notice in the cycling world when he finished second in the 2005 U-23 national cross championships.   The following year the 22 year old changed to the Continental Team Heinz von Heiden.  In 2007 he started for Team 3C-Gruppe.  Here Voß made a strong impression with, among others, his second place in the Int. Ronde van Noord-Holland, ninth in the national road championship and his 15th place in the Bayern Rundfahrt.

In 2008, in addition to numerous further top placings in road races, he won the silver medal in the European championships and thus showed his versatility.  In cyclo-cross he was on the podium in a number of top  international races, the World Cup and the Super Prestige Series, and established himself in the world elite.
